Larry Portzline bid $2800 on the opportunity to sing "Wild Thing" with the Rock Bottom Remainders at Webster Hall on June 1, 2007.
He became the first person in the history of the band to get the timing right.

  • Larry Portzline rocked at the Rock Bottom Remainders Concert. The Pulpwood Queens and Timber Guys were on the front row rooting you on! Here is one man who not only walks the walk, talks the talk on promoting literacy and helping all of us independent bookstores.

You go Larry, I have never been more happy as watching you sing your heart out for such a great cause!

  • LARRY, you're not only a literary star, you're a ROCK STAR! XO Hillary
