    I'm not too sure the reports now say it won't be, but in all reality we'll have to wait until the building is finished to get the official competing height.

    Yes, the antenna will still rise to 1,776ft but it's not going to be used for competing height with other buildings.

    its not what i saw in wikipedia, its a plan only they r not going to change the 1 WTC height

    Well that is what I heard from many news reports and videos. There was also a report from the Port Authority saying maintenance would not be feasible or possible with cladding on the antenna. If you type into Youtube "WTC may not be tallest U.S. building" You'll get the news report.
