Ion demonstrates voltage drop across a hot dog with 110v AC across the length. LED's will light because of the voltage differential along the length.

Love it ...thank you ..very well done...you perhaps know this ..but presto company in the USA actually sold a hot dog cooker that worked as you've shown...it cooked 6 at a time and feature a shock safe lid ...the LEDs are a nice touch
