Khayyam has composed a great tune and rafi has sung it into an immortal masterpiece. Songs like this made Indian music so great. This tune is purely eastern and never be matched by any western composer.

This is a tribute to the composer of the song and dance, choreography, lyricist, singer and all of the actors who participated in making this beautiful presentation. The words are really appropriate to the scene and the rhythm of a dancer really addresses that very well. The beliefs of that era and the taste and aesthetic sense prevailing at the time finally justifies the lyrics. The people watching from the window also add another interesting perspective to the scene. I really appreciate it.

gr8 legends rafi & khayam what a butiful creation. the movie lalarukh has sm other btiful songs but this song is my favourite one & i used 2 listen frm radio ceylone & all india radio in my childhood. khayam sahib has his own btiful style & has given us many valuable gems.
