Mixxx 1.10 Beta Released! Free / Open Source DJ Mixing Turn Table Software.

To express yourself is a large part of what it means to be human. Small children make up songs and people made music all thru out human history, long before there was a way to sell it. Because of all of this, music could never die. There is no such thing as a new idea, including music. All self expression is just building off of other people's ideas. Taking their ideas, processing it, making it a part of you and sharing your updated self expressing back to the rest of the world. That is why music is culture. Turn Tabling and mixing music is what I have just talked about in it's rawest forum. Today's story is about the newest version of a piece of free and open source software called mixxx. Mixxx is free in every sense of the word and is used for DJing with Midi decks / controllers. It has a lot of great features and seems to be up to snuff. If you are into DJ'ing then you should check it out.
