@Shkarya No, not exactly. Most drugs that a pharmacist prescribes have certain qualities to make the patient better. However the drugs in stores that you aren't getting from a pharmacist may be in fact just that.

You've never actually worked in a compounding pharmacy or hospital have you? Pharmacists are the backups for doctors, physician assistants, nurses, and drug manufacturers. Every drug manufacturer has pharmacists on quality control. They're the utility player of drug-based medicine.

Pharmacists don't need to be so defensive because it is a really smart health profession. Its a pity that the general public DOESN'T understand the amount of knowledge that pharmacists actually need to have. Its annoying.
