The KJVO myth is phony as a football bat. Its current edition is derived from a CULT OFFICIAL'S book, that book being "Our Authorized Bible Vindicated"(1930) by Dr. Benjamin Wilkinson, a 7TH DAY ADVENTIST official. And there's NOT ONE QUARK OF SCRIPTURAL SUPPORT for the KJVO myth. That alone renders it FALSE.

Read the Wycliffe bible lately if you did you would throw it onto the Garbage just like the Catholic Church, with all his additions deletions and personal additions to scripture, Just like the first protestants did with each others bibles.

To be versed in history is to cease to be Protestant. ... It's about being intellectually honest - to oneself and to God.

8TH CENTURY,THE FIRST TRANSLATION OF THE BIBLE IN TO ENGLISH LANGUAGE: By Aldhelm, the Bishop of Sherborne, and Bede. A 9th century translation of the Bible in to English (Anglo-Saxon the dialect of its time) was made by Alfred. This was twenty years before Wycliffe's 1381 translation

405 A.D. THE FIRST TRANSLATION OF THE COMPLETE BIBLE IN THE COMMON LANGUAGE: Latin Vulgate, the Bible still used by the Roman Catholic Church, was translated by St. Jerome (Whom the translators of the 1611 Authorized Version in their original preface called " a most learned father, and the best linguist without controversy, of his age, or of any that went before him").
50 million Martyrs gee I don't think their were that many people in the protestant countries then. I wonder how many Catholics King James and King Henry V111 had murdered

You promote a pseudo pagan/christian denomination (Roman Catholicism) and defend superstitions and man-made doctrines. I promote no denomination and defend only the pure words of the Lord. Compare a 1611 ed. AV to one printed today and you'll find no textual changes. You said that the Latin Vulgate is "the Bible still used by the Roman Catholic Church." Fact: the NAB is the Bible most recommended and used by your church today. Here's an example of just one of many textual changes made

in your church's official Bibles: Matthew 1:25 "And he knew her not till she brought forth her first borne sonne"(Latin Vulgate/Rheims 1582); "And he knew her not till she brought forth her first born son"(Latin Vulgate/Douay-Rheims 1899); "He had no relations with her until she bore a son"(NAB 2002). Note the change from "first born son" to "a son." Your church does not deny that "first born" is the true reading. But to accommodate her man-made doctrine she changed the text.

Since you quote the 1611 AV translators in their original preface, read on,
"even before the faith of CHRIST was generally embraced in the Empire... the godly-learned were not content to have the Scriptures in the language which themselves understood, Greek and Latin... they provided translations into the vulgar for their countrymen, insomuch that most nations under heaven did shortly after their conversion hear CHRIST speaking unto them in their mother tongue... by the written word translated."

The number of people living on the earth in any given year is not static; there are births and deaths. For the 600 year period from 1198 to 1798 50 million is a very realistic number. Your pro-Roman-Catholic bias is undoubtedly affecting your reasoning and ability to be impartial. The other 28 comments you posted are equally unqualified.
