If you found out you didn't have to pick up the slack for your douchebag brother's stupidity (AGAIN), I bet you'd be at least as relieved as Stan. The "Yes!" was mild compared to the "Hah! I don't have to fix your screwup this time, you retarded douche nozzle!" I would have felt compelled to say while dancing and celebrating... ;)

very enjoyable, the black humour completely caught me by surprise. I felt that this one had a emptier feel to it, i don't know if you know what i mean but it sorta lacked a umph for the first part of the video and it was just a couple chuckles during it.
like i said very enjoyable, and keep making them.

I love Defenders of Stan. I show it to anyone who is interested. But I have to say, this would deffs not be the episode I would show them first.
Hey guys. I'm a big fan. But since the robo-twin episode, you guys haven't really done anything to lampoon the superhero genre. these last few have more been about a dysfunctional brother relationship. The super powers have been pretty incidental. I want to see what it's like for stan to do regular things in this extraordinary world. Also, "Yesss"ing the death of the unwed mother was kinda out of character. Isn't he supposed to be the sympathetic one?

i don't disagree with you, but i'm not sure we really ever set out to have the show be a lampoon of the superhero genre...if we had, it would probably be a very different show...
it's always a blast when we can work those comic references in there, but we just wanna tell a story, wherever it takes us.

Upon second watching: the attention to detail in the scenery is really brilliant. I especially loved the magazines ("Flylights," "Better Lairs").

hey, thanks so much for noticing! we always try to add neat little subtlties to each scene or episode cus it really helps present the world.
the little "easter eggs" you pointed out will be posted soon on our blog, but for now all the past once are up there to check out!
