the riddle of strider-a sindarin poem

this is my second recitation of elvish,this time in sindarin.it is called "the riddle of strider" part of which was quoted in the return of the king.

I reckon you should learn how to read regular poems first. I don't have anything against elvish or sindarin (although its probably the strangest nerdy thing ever), but i would sound way better if you could recitate properly. Not with that horrible tone of yours.

@irkenempress Well of course i'm not gonna mention the poem itself, i'm sure i can read it on thousands of sites. I just choosed to talk about the only point of this video : your voice and your ability to recite peotry, as you said.

And well, i didnt like it. Actually, it's not just I. Its objectively bad.

And by the way, why would you post this stuff on the internet, if you only wanna hear praises? Man, the whole world can go on youtube, and a least 99.999% of it thinks your videos sux ass.

@irkenempress Oh and one last thing. I don't have to show you any of my videos. First, because people don't have to practice something to be able to know what's good or not. Do you think movie critics are all directors?

Second, because this is youtube. Not everyone HAS TO like your stuff just because you're doing the effort of trying.

And finally, because i don't make videos, my hobby is to paint. But unlike you, i don't need approbation from the whole world, so i could feel better about myself

@irkenempress thanks for recording these, i'm a new student of elvish, it really suprises me that normally i'm the most horrible and lazy and stupid language student ever, but for elvish, i'm even using a systematic notebook, and made myself a lesson and studying schudale^^

Your Irish accent goes perfectly with Sindarin. Tolkien derived Sindarin from languages like Welsh, Gaelic, Gàidhlig and Old English so it really fits. So much crisper sounding than the more usual plugged-up sounding American accent when speaking Sindarin.

I actually really like your voice. I'm not sure where exactly you are from, but it's calming. The likes obviously outweigh the dislikes, there's too much negativity in this world. Why ruin Tolkien with rude comments? You are just showing a piece of literature that you love :)
