  • i would think a definiton of a tame animal is a animal that never bites and can be handled. most snakes dont bite meaning you can get tame reptiles like you can get tame dogs and cats and the majority of adult snakes are tame. and animals like dogs are capable of killing a person and a large snakes are no different so just because its a snake dont mean it will kill you.

  • @fwcjoe Well i can tell you that all those lovely and calm horses kill 440 people every 2 years and snakes 1 every 2 years. Guess who they are about to ban in the US?

  • How long is she as of now and is she full grown?

  • @souldiesoul She is 8,5 feet long. Not fullgrown. But i have a more recent video with her in here you can see.

  • there is no such thing as a tame reptile. reptiles can be conditioned through regular handling, but their brains are incapable of domestication and will always resort to instinctual behavior when stressed or frightened.

That said, snakes make wonderful and interesting pets, I have eleven of my own and wouldn't trade them for the world. But don't look for "tame" snakes, because there aren't any, rather look to be a smart handler and you will do well even with larger herps.

  • A tame anaconda isnt rare. You have to get them and handle them very early. When i got my yellow it was 2 months old. I started handling it right from the mail. It struck at me when i 1st picked it up. It struck my thumb 2 days later while i was holding it but i think it was still adapting and i was moving my fingers too much. Ive had him for 6 months now and he hasnt struck since. Frequent handling and not showing your scared is the key. Ive got 7 snakes currently, none are biters.

  • and to stungun- horses are competely different the majority of people killed by horses are accidence. in the uk a captive snake hasnt killed anyone for over 50 years

  • to robby the lion- yellow anacondas can not get 15ft let alone 30ft. most max out between 8 - 10ft in lenght though they are reports of yellow anacondas 13ft thou even 11ft+ is rare there lenght is often exaggerated

  • @THEoEDUCATER Snakes too my friend;-)

  • @complexeddrummer I'd say monitors and Tegus are the only reptiles that can be domesticated.

  • Gorgeous!
