Imagine him and Josh Selby (who I believe will commit to KU) will be a DEADLY backcourt duo for Self. I dont see Tyshawn Taylor/Brady Morningstar/Tyreel Reed panning out as starters. Neither of those guys are consistent on the scoring end as Wooldridge/Selby.

i love watching this kid play. he lights my school up everytime but it's a treat to watch. we don't play sunnyslope this year, but i might have to make the hike up there to see him play again before he's off to college and the NBA and the hall of fame. okay i'm optimistic.

Welcome to KU kid, glad to have ya!

and you can quote me on this First Round Draft Pick. Guaranteed.

going to highschool with this kid was ridiculous. i have already graduated and he is much better than anyone i have ever met.

The Dude is in the zone!!! Absolutely unconscious!!!!

That's true about him being a shooting guard, but if Royce does not grow anymore (there are rumors that he is still growing fast) then he will be prototypical D-I point guard size. Other than that, Bill Self does have a better system, by far.

I agree stevemath9108, but I have to add that I think Royce's offense is far above that of Aaron Miles. His passes do remind me of Miles, but Miles never put up 40 or 50 points in high school. Bill Self is a better defensive coach too, so whatever he lacks on defense will surely improve.

Not even close. Woolridge is head and shoulders above Miles in terms of athleticism. Secondly Woolridge is a shooting guard, not a point like Miles. I see very few similarities between the two, and I think Woolridge will be much more successfull in college (better system with Self.)

I think his play is similar to that of Aaron Miles. He's quick with the ball, can make a pass whenever he wants too, and a pretty decent shooter. The only problem is that his defense is not the same as Aaron.
Royce's cross over is already better than Sherron Collins

Woolridge looks awesome. Yet another KU player that will own K-State and Mizzou.
