When was Sato's first pit stop? Im guessing he was on a low fuel load, and pitted early.

This is qualify 1.

So every drivers were on a low fuel load(3 laps).

Sato was great!. he crashed alot because he took chances that other drivers thought too risky. It lead to some exciting racing from him though. When he was on the limit he was as good as anyone.

Sad he is not there in f1 anymore. Not to the person who uploaded it. Track record is always made in the race. Not in qual. So even do it seems close it is not as close as this

@IvanMD09 Actually the 2009 cars were faster in the corners than 2004 cars. Traction Control only helps getting on the power at low speeds. So in low speed corners, it helped. However in high speed corners it was irrelevant. Also the 2009 cars had slick tyres while 2004 cars had grooved tyres. You wouldn't believe how little mechanical grip the grooved tyres had compared to the slicks. Turn three at Barcelona is a perfect example. 2009 cars could take it flat. 2004 cars couldn't.

04 cars were faster in cornering and braking than de 07-08-09 and 2010 cars mostly coz traction control and other electronic stuff that are prohibited now by the fia

Sorry man, not at all, back then aerodynamics hadn`t got so many stupid limits, wings had 3 plates, and diffusers were much bigger, if you don`t believe it compare aerodynamics of the 2004 mc laren and 2009 one...you`ll see, besides, lap times aren`t even close

Scotracer, don't you think the 09 (and maybe even 08) cars are faster in cornering and braking than the 04 cars? I wouldn't say they are light-years ahead of every other era... it was definitely mostly the engine (IMO obviously).
