PNG vs NZ - 2005 International Cup Grand Final - Part 1

The Papua New Guinea national Australian rules football team, the Mosquitos (Mozzies) take on the New Zealand Falcons in the Grand Final of the Australian Football International Cup for 2005. Held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), traditional home of AFL football as a curtainraiser to a premiership match between traditional AFL rivals Collingwood Magpies and Carlton Blues.

PNG has produced some quality modern players for the AFL, including Mal Michael, while New Zealand has produced the likes of Wayne Schwass, Trent Croad and Adam Campbell. Some of the talented under 18 players in these sides who performed well may yet go on to AFL careers.

These are some highlights of the first quarter action.

IN PNG PPL dont know or heard of any sport such as AFL....Its regarded as second class sport. BTW, thanks guys for kicking Kiwis's ass....
