the technique is just so good.

Yes, this is what makes Björling standing out from other tenors!
No one and i mean NO ONE comes close to this!

God, what singing!

GREAT, Wonderful performance, and a difficult song-no question. Notice on all Bjorling's performances, everyone he always starts his phrases and the note softly and then expands them. Sounds simple but it is not, also most singers start the note hard and then fade but not Bjorling. He is one of the greatest singers, not just tenors!!!! I have him singing this song on record and he sang it more then once.

He sings very Legato. Some modern people I know insists on Staccato. Go for L egato. OK? Bjørling is the greatest - ever. That 's all there's to say about this.

My trumpet teacher claims listening and imitating Jussi's sound and technique is highly recommended to improve my playing.

Lol, i love watching Bjorling in action. He is so wide-eyed innocent looking, it's endearing. Oh and he is the greatest artist.
