Total War : Shogun 2 HD Shimazu Campaign Commentary Part 10 "Exodus of the Chosokabe"

In this episode the Chosokabe flee from Tosa in an attempt to save their lands from the sudden invasion of my Shimazu invasion. Will they be able to mount a defense, or will they suffer the greatest dishonor by allowing their homelands and families to fall to my armies. Enjoy!

i'm continuely playing Total War games practising strategy and tactics hoping that some day if i get the chance to lead an army loyal to me i would conquer the whole middle east if possible so no more filthy rich king saudis & jordanians, no more isreali - arab wars, no more extremism & terrorism, no more shia vs sunni, no more American, British & French intervension, no more dictators, just a large empire and i as SHOGUN LOL XD

@wanttobeavampire1 frst off, yes it restored their honor. However, the beheading only happened at the height of pain, and it was not to "make sure they were dead", as slitting you stomach open tends to kill you.

yes. seppuku is ritualized suicide, used when great dishonor had been brought to your clan. It wiped clean all dishonor and restored your status.

Actually the correct way to say ninja is (Neenja, as in "I used to be a ninja like you, but then I took an arrow in the knee.)

That was how they showed their honor by having the guts to do suicide and the person that cuts off their head is their to end it quickly and also to make sure their dead. it is an old samurai tradition.

The video that followed the destruction of the Chosokabe was not a dishonorable execution. That was seppuku.

The Daimyo was commiting suicide to avoid mistreatment at your hands, and apparently seppuku was an honorable suicide ritual. That guy who beheaded him?

Was his second and very possibly his close friend.
