It's been several months since I posted a singing video. My voice is not great these days: I'm struggling to find and project my changed voice. Jerry Garcia's "Mission In The Rain" is a song that doesn't seem to cause me too many problems however (at least in terms of range.) I've played this tune countless times with friends around campfires and in livingroom jams, and it sounds like I'll continue to be able to join in on this one.

Side note for music aficionados: This was a Jerry Garcia Band tune. The Grateful Dead only performed it five times (all in 1976.) Here's one of those performances, Chicago 06/29/76: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eHPQlmYsCY

  • Wow you look great in this video!, things are really coming along.

I dont want to transition, but i was thinking of taking T to develop a more androgynou look, thin out an muscle up, if my doses are really small, can i minimise the hair growth?

  • @freakinhotdancer You can't really pick and choose what you want to get out of T. You could take a DHT blocker, which would block conversion to T to DHT... DHT plays a huge role in masculinization, including facial hair growth. However, that would also block the stuff you want from DHT. Plus, there's no way to tell how such a cocktail would affect your hormonal balance. Hormonal balance is kind of like a house of cards, and being out of balance can have all kinds of negative affects on health.

  • you sound incredible!! I can relate on not being able to project your voice after being on testosterone but you sound like you have really got it figured out.

  • @callestreets22 Thanks! The projection is getting under control now, but I'm not very familiar with my new range. We're still getting to know each other ;)

  • yay! i just moved to sf and yet to go to pride so this will be my first and didnt know it was the 40th ann but hope to see you there?! lol

i deffinitely notice a difference between this video and your most recent music video.

    thank u joshua:)

  • @akaTheFatTuba The Plan was to be at SF Pride, but I got hammered at tax time this year and can't afford the trip now. Oh well, all good things in all good time!
