Have you told the astrophysicists and geophysicist of this great insight of yours? Do you really think people have not looked into the sun as the reaosn for the present warming? Really? Try this: go to Google Scholar and type in "Total Soar Irradiance" and see the work that has been done.

Sorry, but warming trends are scientifically proven...you say so right in your blog...warmest since 1880...I have actual proof that where I live in Canada was once a coral reef 60 million years ago...and then it got cool...then warm...and so on...seems to me activists should educate themselves regarding the issues they speak out against and turn their energies towards finding solutions to what they're worrying about. To those who do, Keep up the good work and research

How exactly is Cap and Trade going to "save" the ice caps this time from melting?

I can understand that it could "slow" down the inevitable, but these caps have been melting for 10,000 years. Ever since they expanded down half way to the equator.

Not that im not all for cleaner industry, but those blocks of ice will melt regardless of human activity or existance.

I think everyones anti-pollution. Some of us just don't like the lies we're being fed.

Global warming is making governments rich through carbon-taxes. Simple as that. There is science backing up both sides of the arguement - but the media takes only one side.

Subjugate: Have you measured god using multiple data points and gathering methods lately? Do you have satellites around his supposed place of origin watching him 24/7?

Apples and oranges my friend. This isn't philosophy, this is atmospheric science.

And for the record -not that it matters here in the least bit- no, I'm not keen on creationism or intelligent design. But then again, we're not talking about that, are we?

Actually I believe in climate change, considering I'm studying meteorology. Little silly not to. I just didn't like your argument. "Just give it a try, we could die or we could not".

Understandable, and I agree, the argument was logically weak. If anything it was more of a quick missive fired from the hip on a whim. Though I think in its ethos it does hint at a possible framework for working toward compromise.
