does it have the top and bottoms leds showing on both of the sides

@treemaniseverywhere No. The metal casing/frame where the motherboard is secured onto is on the other side. So you will only see the black/smoked area there.

where did you buy the 2 led stips and the clear cover for your dvd drive?
