This is pretty easy.. But I'm an intermediate Kung Fu student.. And I've had my leg extended 90 degrees while keeping balance too.. my goal is pulling my leg above my head while keeping balance..

this is critically important in Wushu, just like good flexibility. To raise the bar up a bit try holding your toes while your foot is straight out in front then out to the side. Another good practice is making standing leg circles as high as you can get them.
