Jeepers Creepers is a 2001 horror film written by Samuel Bradley and directed by Victor Salva.

The film chronicles a day in the life of two siblings, Trish and Darry Jenner (played by Gina Philips and Justin Long), who are coming home from college for spring break. As they drive through the Ocala, Florida countryside in their 1960 Chevrolet Impala playing a license plate game, a mysterious driver in a modified 1941 Chevrolet COE aggressively tries to run them off the road. After letting the vehicle pass them, Trish is clearly shaken up but gets over it quickly, they later see the same truck parked outside an old abandoned church. In the churchyard a hulking man with his face hidden is sliding what appears to be bodies covered with blood stained sheets into a large pipe sticking out of the ground. The driver, taking note that they have seen him, catches up to them and succeeds in running them off the road.

While doing his best at fixing their car, Darry persuades Trish to go back to the church and investigate. They hear cries coming from the bottom of the pipe, and Trish holds Darry's feet so he can lower himself down. Rats run up the pipe and startle him and he jerks and screams, causing Trish to lose her grip on his legs. At the bottom of the pipe, Darry finds one of the blood stained bundles and the bundle moves, and when Darry tears open the sheet he finds a dying man with huge stitches right down his chest and stomach. The man tries to give Darry a warning, but dies before he can. Darry walks deeper into the church basement and finds hundreds of bodies sewn together, covering the walls and ceiling. Meanwhile Trish is seen standing with the car but does not notice a truck similar to the one that tried to run them off the road earlier. When she does notice it, she unsuccessfully tries to pull away, only to find that the truck is not the one that she had feared. Just when Trish calms down, Darry slams into the window scaring Trish, the look on Darry's face shows that he is traumatized by what he has seen. The two flee the scene.
