  • hi david i was just wondering if you coukd tell e how to make the first lick a little more rockish? thanks

  • Hi there is a lot you can do to make the licks more rock sounding - real quick add some distortion for a nice dirty tone and one things is to try and use more hammer-ons and pull offs, play that lick a little faster and keep repeating it - its endless what you can do - of course a lot depends on what the chords are that you are playing over - check out more of my rock video lessons and my rock jam tracks plus package for more rock stuff....and .......rock on!

  • Hi - yes, remember that your lead guitar journey is a nevolution and will take time and patience to develop. Most players do play a lot of teh same licks at first as it takes a while to start developing your licks and rhythm while you solo - but you can do it - stay with it and stay positive. Take care
