Satan's Greatest Trick?

(It's a bad hair day.) There's a saying among those who believe he exists that "Satan's greatest trick was convincing the world that he doesn't exist." I say "Nay." Satan's greatest trick would be convincing people to do his will and having them think that it was god's will. Just something to keep in mind if you are going to claim to be doing the will of god.

@childofconvenant Yes, I'd like a healthy discussion, not dismissive comments about my mind being set in my beliefs. How set is your mind in your beliefs? Would you be willing to consider the possibility that you have accomplished all you have without the assistance of a god?

@triftenC i know i haven't fully answered ur question, i enjoy this since i myself was once plagued with the problem of knowing God's direction,committed "suicidal" decisions due 2 confusing/ not knowing His directions. enjoy answering this cuz i have never been posed this question in a way that will cause me to look inward and consciously asses how i have come to discern between what is of God and satan or my flesh, i assume u desire a non accusatory healthy discussion so i send it publicly

@triftenC were made blind by sin/bondage to satan had there eyes open and they now see the light, have the light in them and hence can see and distinguish between good and evil, christ and satan. I know this may seem foolish to u but, I am my source i have no other source this is a relationship between my Father and I, its like asking a son the source of how he know when his Dad is leading him. but our relationship is based on the "living" word of God so that is my source as well..

@triftenC whatever is satan is darkness and what ever is of Jesus(the word of God) is light. Period. The word of God is light and that light shines in the darkness and the darkness comprehendeth not (Jn 1:5) i.e it becomes clear that darkness is darkness. Jesus (the Word of God) is the light of men. When u have the Word of God alive in you it is light (in the spirit realm), u've heard about how he came that the blind eyes see. I.e spiritually speaking those whose spiritual senses of discernment.

@triftenC it is ur spirit that relates with God, ur spirit relates with ur mind (soul) and ur mind relates with ur sensuality (senses), this is the state of a born again believer, His spirit is born again, his mind is being born again, and his body will be born again (thats y Jesus took 3 days to rise). A fallen man is corrupt because his sensuality rules his mind and his mind rules his spirit. Jesus set the spirits free (1 Peter 3:18).

@triftenC well playa, its a bit longish but i'll try simple it our for u, u are in a relationship with God thru Christ and God communicates to you, someone u are relating with must have an impression on u that would make u know its from him.. I personally know via my spirit, God doesn't deal with my mind he deals with my spirit, the spirit doesn't think it knows. God works thru ur spirit to get to ur mind, satan works thru ur mind to get to ur spirit, It is not ur mind that's in relation w/ God

@childofconvenant I'm an atheist. (Buddhism does have some good ideas as well as some nonsense.) What's the difference between "figure out which ideas are from god and which are from satan" and "figure out which ideas are good and which are bad"?
