SMS Mess, a play about the troubles of text messaging, premiered at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts on July 23, 2008. A partial presentation has been uploaded here to give a taste of the play - all public performance enquiries should be directed to: http://www.tazentertainment.com.au/Playwrights_byauthor.html
Using comedy to highlight what happens when text messaging goes wrong, the play is about Kates journey of realisation as she finds there is perhaps a better way to communicate when playing the dating game. SMS Mess is ideal for an actress who is looking to showcase herself with a quirky monologue. It requires only a few props and a minimal set.
This play is sooooooo funny, and true!! I've seen it live and would strongly suggest to anyone that hasn't seen to check it out next chance they get.
Keep up the great work and keep writing such fantastic material :-) :-)
