  • Hmmm... I thought this was the Ultima VI theme. I didn't know it was in any of the other games (other than UO).

  • I think Ultima VI re-used the battle theme and hornpipe song from Ultime V as well (also on my channel if you wanna check 'em out).

  • One of the greatest soundtracks ever

  • I got a type of the U5 soundtrack 20 years ago, at that time, I listened to this soundtrack every day. So classic.

  • @IOLO1984 For U3 and 4 I agree but the c64 version of Ultima 5 has no music the 128 version yes but not the c64.

  • Ultimas III and IV had great music for the time, but when this came out, I remember being blown away by this theme. It took the Ultima mythology to a whole 'nother level of epic.

  • The C64 versions are better!!! It had a better sound chip..Go to lemon64.com to look up and listen to old games like this. They also review the games to.

  • @dauntlessmath They re-used this many times, and in many other forms for the boot, character creation I think too.

  • i wonder what that 1 person that thumbed down is doing right now

  • If it is not too late, I had the Apple ][+ and with dual mockingboard it produces 12 stereo sound channels.

This piece sounds very close to it. BTW, Ultima III was one of the first to use the mockingboard.

  • @Nocturgeist This isn't the native Apple sound BTW - description says it's being run off of two Mockingboards, which were very early add-on soundcards for the Apple. About $600 in additional hardware back in the day, that's $2000 worth of hardware in today's dollars!

  • sound like sega master system hahahaha

  • Epic soundtrack!

I barely remember the C=64 and that strange red cartridge ... I was young and curious ... and I found the mantras! Sweet memories never die !
