Why are white people (from the well to do to the jobless) required, by law, to ascribe to a "color-blind" world? The blacks aren't buying into it, the Hispanics aren't buying into it, the Asians aren't buying into it. No. Of course not. The black people see a black world. The Hispanics see a brown world. And the Asians see a yellow world. But white people are only supposed to see the rainbow. Where's the "unity" in all of that? We are the ones being united against.

In my culture, if you did not shake my (female) hand, you would be rude and unprofessional. You encourage me to be in a 'diverse' group, where I would then interact with individuals who find it rude and unprofessional to shake my hand.

What happens then? Who trumps who in this situation? Do you have some sort of priority system? A hierarchy?

A list of who has supremacy over others?

Is it race > sex > religion? Which race gets top priority?

Do we rock/paper/scissors for it?
