...Western Pacific's alternative to building over the mountains was to follow the Feather River canyon. The architecture involved in orchestrating this makes this an impressive line in real life. However, we all know that Microsoft Train Simulator has its shortcomings. Can it handle the 3DTrains recreation?

This is pretty darn close to the real thing, both in looks and in sound! These diesel units (not to mention the beautiful scenery) could pass for the real thing any day of the week.

My Great Grand Father was the conductor on the California Zephyr for the Feather river Canyon and the name for the canyon came because the people who found it saw feathers in the river from the migrating birds thus the name my family is amazing because of all the history
