@Aetion Percy Kahn. He plays the piano in this as well. This is not as well-known as Gounod's and Schubert's versions of "Ave Maria", but I think it's fantastic nonetheless.
This well made recording from 1913 has additional significance for music lovers as the pianist here is Percy Kahn, the composer of this setting of the prayer. The violinist is Mischa Elman.

@Aetion It's one of the most beautiful recordings I've ever heard from Caruso. I have to admit, I nearly cried when I heard this for the first time.
