@WsobelBosHerz Other than similar layouts, they are completely different submachineguns. The BRP STG woody Suomi clone is different from the original. These provisions are made to comply with BATF using a Stemple registered tube. The original Suomi has the charging handle on the rear right. The PPSh-41 has the charging handle on the bolt (right side). The Suomi is 9x19mm, and the PPSh-41 is 7.62x25mm. The Suomi has a round receiver (tube style smg), the PPSh-41 is squarish.

The XMG looks like alot of fun, to bad the BATF put a stop using them on Transferable AR/M16s. I would have bought one for my RR.
