very bad lucky you have, but you can try to buy it anyway, here where i live all people knows that mixing calcium carbide with water + plastic bottle will make a boom, other few know that you can also make oxyacetylide mix , but you still can buy that stuff.

try , you wouldnt lose anything.

in denmark you COULD buy paint along with ultra fine Al but alot of idiots got busted making ''fireworks'' with it.. -.- so you cant anymore.. but what can dissolve aluminium? if i do it with hydrochloric acid i will get aluminium chloride :S and with sodium hydroxide: aluminium hydroxide.. idk what you mean about that stuff dude.. it will convert into a salt, therefore no metallic aluminium :/

I forgot that one yes, but I wouldn't recommend doing that because you don't have a clue how pure it is.

Furtherly, high mesh aluminum without a C coating (GD Flash) is of lower quality.

If you really want to, get it out of something else (like Al paint), or dissolve some solid aluminum and evaporate the solvent really fast to get a high mesh.

But seriously though, I do not recommend this method.

it contains Ba(NO3)2, Al (really fine), Starch (binder) and Iron.. to get the Al you do: dissolve in water, filter off, dry the stuff in the filter, run a magnet over the powder to gather iron powder, dissolve the rest in hot water and gather the stuff in the filter and you got aluminium q:
