What can you use salty lemons for?

its used in many dishes to salt certain dishes, it gives a wonderful lemony salty flavor. if you ever had Moroccan food and wondered what made it so tasty then the answer is preserved lemons :)

How long are they to say in jar until use? And are you supposed to shake the jar occasionally or anything? Thanks for posting this! :0)

At least a month, but the longer the better. no need to shake it or anything.

Do we have to fill the jar completely with water or lemon juice? I read somewhere that you have to leave 1 or 2 cm space at the top.
