  • any responce to my question would be nice=you "ARE NOT TO TOW A Q400" WITHOUTH THE LOWER COWL AS IT IS PRIMARY STRUCTURE TO THE NACELLE

  • it is probaby why the lower cowl is such a pain in the ass to remove when we have to do it because the structure has been tweaked

  • i work on these type aircraft for a living and love how they are towing them around without the lower cowl installed=shorts brothers, the mfr says that the lower cowl is primary structure and must be in place before towing to prevent damage to the cowl spine=bombardier scews up again

  • @EatMyPropwash Actually instrumentation generally goes in after major structural work is done. The flight compartment you see being loaded here is essentially empty in that regard.
