  • KU and Kentucky REALLY need to start playing every year again!!!

  • ....but we kentucky fans were crazy for wanting Tubby gone....right. Dick says all that and then turns around and burns UK fans when we finally ran Tubby off. I'm sorry people but if you can't see the hypocracy in that then you're blind.

  • @igloomaniacable don't get me wrong I like Kansas, but they haven't been as headstrong since the 08 season (last years Kansas team was pretty good). But they need to reach 1 more final four for to restore their power. Plus theyre kinda in the weaker basketball conferenece (Texas is good). As for Kentucky, they just gloat WAY to much. Half of them were won when there were like 8 teams in the tournament. Plus a lot of the guys they recruit are idiots! They're great teams tho.

  • @EnigmoEnigmo Well, I respect your opinion (and I do NOT think of you as "that guy"), but I have to disagree. You are arguing in a circle. Yes, Kansas lost to Northern Iowa and VCU, and you are right: both of those schools don't even have more than one Final Four in their name. But because Kansas lost to Northern Iowa and VCU, you say the Jayhawks are a B+ team... Does that make VCU and Northern Iowa A teams? Surely not! Kansas and Kentucky are right up there with Duke and UNC.

  • @HighTyto12 Kentucky played a very good game yesterday. I think Kansas is still trying to find itself as a team this year, and that definitely caused difficulties in the second half. Congrats to a good Kentucky win... It would be awesome if Kansas and Kentucky played each other in the Final Four!

  • @HighTyto12 not to be "that guy" but come on man, UNC & Duke have way less bandwagon fans then kentucky. They won 7 championships...fine, but they go flaunting them around like they (the fans) won them. Half of them were only alive for 1, possibly 2. No offense to jayhawks, but they're more of a B+ team. They always lose to weak teams. Northern Iowa, VCU? Not even more than 1 final four to their name. Duke and UNC on the other hand have won 4 in the last 10 years. Kansas and Kentucky? 1

  • @percyjacksonization Ive always felt the same about kansas. I think duke is an embarrassment to the big boys of college basketball, always thought that. UNC's fans are a lie and are BY FAR the biggest bandwagon fans of the best 5-6 programs. When it comes to passion and fan dedication, i think it's Kentucky and Kansas.

  • @HighTyto12 Yeah, Kentucky has a lot of experienced players returning. As I said earlier, this upcoming season Kansas will have lost 5 of their best 7 players... It's going to be rough with us only returning 2 players who have experience. I've always had high regards for Kentucky. While other schools like UNC and Duke are also college basketball giants, I think UK is the only school that can rival/surpass KU in tradition... and of course, you all have the best records in basketball.

  • @percyjacksonization I'm excitef for it. I really wanted to make it to NYC for the game but unfortunately don't have the money. UK will most likely win, but KU has a chance because of it being so early with our freshman. However, we still have Darius Miller (playing for team USA right now), Terrence Jones, Doron lamb, and Vargas for experience. Only thing that worries me is that in the season 2 yr's ago w/ John Wall, we almost lost the opening game at home to Miami Ohio. Will be a great game.

  • @HighTyto12 Well, Kansas and Kentucky will be playing again this upcoming season! As a Jayhawk fan, I'm a little scared for KU, especially since they lost the Morris twins and Selby (to the NBA) and Tyrel Reed and Brady Morningstar (to graduation.) I'm not sure if this 2011-2012 Jayhawk squad could handle Kentucky now, especially since UK has one of the best incoming freshmen classes. However, Bill Self is a phenomenal coach... so I still believe anything is possible. Go KU!

  • What an annoying windbag. He has got to be the only sportscaster I 've ever hear say baby so much.

  • This is the first game (being a UK game) that I first saw Brandon Rush and loved his game.
