YouTube - Bizarre Message Glitch (Receiver is sender)

720p fullscreen recommended to best see what's happening. This glitch is now fixed/not affecting me anymore.

Anything that I send via a YouTube PM appears in the other person's inbox as sent by themselves.

This is just proof to the people that I have been speaking to recently that I did not compromise their account.

Apologies for lack of mouse in video. I also left the VLC streaming clock in the shot so you could see that I have not cut anything out (see bottom right).

I can only imagine this glitch would be absolutely amazing for practical jokes :P

Happened to me, but now I have a random glitched message. It says 'Inbox (1)' But there's no message whatsoever! Refreshing hasn't helped either!

@xXHeLLoKiTTy3506Xx Ooh, I know that one. You can solve that like this: Send a message to yourself. Then open your inbox twice, on two seperate tabs or windows. Then click the message you sent yourself on both of them without refreshing or closing either. That should fix it.

@MrBean35000vr I have another problem. My 'Contact Suggestions' have a little (1) on them now, and no contact suggestion is there. I can't get rid of it.

What's the link between your and robal's account that's causing it to be sent to one another? IP address? How does Youtube recognize you are the same person?
