Some people are wondering to the area in Virginia I am moving to. This footage was shot by Megan's old apartment in Staunton and we are actually going to be about 7 miles away from there so its not too bad of a difference ... =)

  • I used to live on W. Beverly right by the Clock Tower in a nice little studio apartment. You can't beat a matinee at the Dixie. I live in the ATL now but I miss Staunton from time to time!

  • I live there to. cool!

  • i live on middlebrook avenue

  • My brother lived in west beverly street.

  • @afton1955 I live in the area as well, and I must disagree. Staunton is a very charming place to be.

  • @booldawg Trust me it's a very boring place. What you see in this video is part of the downtown section of the city of Staunton (pronounced Stanton). I've been in and out of this town since I was 5 years old. Since I've grown older I cannot find anything remotely charming about this place.

  • sub ways up the street .

    :D

  • ive lived there once i visit my family

  • I also live in Staunton. It is a great place to visit and live. But if you are a party animal it is a boring place unless you travel for a little. You see the good thing about Staunton is it by two major interstates called I-81 and I-64 so it is usually easy to go to other places.

Those places include Harrisonburg and Charlottesville. Harrisonburg is about 35 miles away while Charlottesville is about 40 miles away.

  • The colleges for all three of these places Mary Baldwin which is in Staunton, James Madson University also known as JMU is in Harrisonburg and the University of Virginia known as UVA is located in Charlottesville.

  • I'm from the UK and stopped off in Staunton for a night back in 2007. Its one of the few 'attractive' towns I stayed in on a road trip from DC to Houston. It has charachter but guess I didnt spend any real time there so not sure how exciting it would be to live there.
