THIS IS THE SAME REPLAY BOTH TIMES THROUGH!

For some reason, the game offers 2 variations of the same replay, alternating each time I play it. I assume it has something to do with how the AI works (all 4 players were level 9 CPU), but it's still weird.

  • i think its because all were cpus and it was special. since its 4 cpus processor had 2 work extra hard and couldn't remember the whole thing. so instead it made it up as it was going along doing the same battle again basically.

  • @Cheese:

I can actually explain how this happened, you're overthinking a little :)

All CPU actions are influenced by two forces -- their programmed strategy, and some random digits to make sure they're not predictable.

However, when you have this many CPU at a fast speed and some really screwed-up settings, it doesn't seem to remember exactly how it generated those numbers. So it tries to generate them again, which is a very hit-and-miss strategy. Therefore, it changes based on time and such.

  • I win 3 lvl 9 easy

  • This has happened to me too! Me and my bro destroyed 2 lvl 9 players and saved the match. When we watched the replay showed us committing suicide over and over and the CPUs taunting us! It I was in total shock because we had no way of proving that the match ended differently, that is until I saw your video.

  • @daltonlaffs Your theory fails here:I saved a 45 minute match,a normal brawl and the first 2 minutes were right, but over the 2nd minute all action are screwed up.No CPU only human players, offline and without cheats(Not included the one who allows me to save the replay).

It show me lost the match suciding over 60 times, but in real match i pwn a lot

  • @Zoomthet No they're not, if you were to look closer at the start it's hard to see due to the quality but it's a 44, too. It just looks like a 14 from the pixelation at the beginning.

  • Idiots look at the first video he picked then the second he picked video 14 then 44 two different videos!!!

  • @CheeseRulezuall Sorry, but that is utter bullshit :P.

  • Explanation: The game doesn't save videos as replays, but sets of numbers and coordinates which the characters move through. That's why replays are so small in file size, and why they're not usually 100% accurate.

  • Make sure you haven't used hacks for your Wii, it is recommended NOT to save replays for custom stages.

  • i made a replay,after that i directed looked at it again,and guise what?

in the real battle I'd won,but in the replay,i lose!

  • Did your Wii tip after you saved the replay? 'cause thats what happened with me lol
