well yeah. but in the end it was obama vs mccain not obama vs ron paul....

with obama vs mccain its ither you support dumbass #1 or dumbass #2

yeah but maher is more in line with obama's policies than those of ron paul. maher probably just said ron paul was his hero because of his foreign policy. but he never really talked that much about paul's other positions and when he did he often disagreed with him. but i like the fact that he is also critical of obama and the democrats instead of just blindly supporting anything they do

You're right.
Bill acknowledges that Ron Paul is the only Republican that has not yet "moved to a mental hospital".
Of course, he cannot agree on most issues (health-care, education, etc.) ... but he is a sound, honest and brave politician. Someone you can argue with hoping he'll make actual points and acknowledge yours with no god name-dropping.

yeah even though i heavily disagree with ron paul i can't deny that he's one of the most honest guys out there. as far as personality goes i like ron paul. i just don't agree with most of his policies except for his foreign policy and i think it's the same with bill maher
