  • Viscount, or "wicount" scans better than "mi-Lord", I feel. But I feel that this song shouldn't be sung downbeat. The milkman ought to have pulled himself together and got some crumpet elsewhere.

  • Well done. Interesting to hear those extra two verses. I wonder where they come from, and whether they were part of Clifton's original version.
