This is a sample taken from the filter of our home aquaculture tank. We're using 'comet goldfish'. I don't know the names of these organisms. We're looking for bacteria specific to the Nitrogen cycle..converts ammonia to nitrites to nitrates...for use by the veggies in the grow bed. But these bacteria are too small I understand to be seen at 400X.
