Here is one of our M. balfouri slings. In the process of being transferrred to a new home. As you can see, they are very fast and full of attitude for a mini spid (as baboons are). Sorry the quality isnt too hot, we could do with some sunlight! Will update with better footage soon. Thanks for watching.

  • cool vid !

  • Hey ... thanks ! :o)

  • Dude. I guess I don't have to tell you how lucky you are to have them... How much did you pay?

  • Thanks. At this size they cost £85 each ($170). They are considerably larger now and we plan to shoot more footage of them. Got to be careful though as they are the fastest T's we've ever witnessed. Almost quicker than the eye ! Thanks for watching.

  • awe, quick little guy... or girl?

  • Carl Lewis stylee. ;O)

  • Update on balfouri??

  • They're so cute when they're little...like puppies.

  • what a cutie. i'd probably freak out and kill it on accident if it ever snuck up on me, though...

  • lol is it weird to say this spiderling is "adorable"?

  • Oh man.. it's funny how the bigger spiders don't creep me out as much as the little ones. I was fine watching your tarantula videos, but when this little guy kicks it into hyper drive I would have had a heart attack.

  • CHA-CHING!

  • @dopeyirish i know ask for a blue ribbon and expect a chocolate bar and get one of those lol i wouldnt be happy :) xD

  • She/he's so cute and gross at the same time ! more cute :-)

  • Hey I know a company called Blue Baboon - is this spider a Blue Baboon Tarantula - I mean is that its actual name? Blue Baboon design may need to rebrand?

  • Hi Piggy237. I was just wondering if you knew how many eggs were in the average Balfouri sac? Ive looked all over online but everybody just keep saying that their egg sacs contain less than normal baboons? :0)
