this is one of my favorite movies of all time, as well as one of the best endings in movie history. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck really struck gold with this script and everything.

Well I don't think it's that cut and dry, and think he was a tortured sould who needed a lot of help, they he didn't get in time. It's well known he had some psych problems, and it's unfortunate that he left this world before his time.
