Skiing Wildcat Mountain in Jackson, NH with Bill on March 25, 2009. Wow!!!!!!! Spectacular!!! Great grooming! Perfect weather! Spectacular day!

Skied Poldecat, Catnap, Tomcat, Tomcat Schuss, Lynx, Catapult, Alley-cat, Wildcat, Wildcat Pitch, Bobcat and Wild Kitten.

Stayed at the Swiss Chalet in Bartlett on Tuesday night and skied the twofer' on Wednesday. Good deal at the Swiss Chalet and they have wireless Internet access.

Supper at the Scarecrow. Breakfast at Yesterday's. Lunch at the deli in Jackson. Talked a bit about Reg and how much he enjoyed the whole deal, including a little retail on the way home (Bought new goggles at End of Season Sale, he would have loved it)

Music: Sovereign by Kevin MacLeod" incompetech.com

Sounds better with "A New Day by Lee Ritenour" as the sound track, but UMG is too stupid to make it easy for me to pay to use it and effectively promote their product.

  • u shuld tag which trails were which. i was there on saturday (the 27) and it was very very icy. i always hear its just an icy mountain, but it was to a point where all the trails around bobcat, cheetah, and lower wildcat were so icy that you couldnt stop, you would just keep going and fall over. (it also didnt help that i snowboard) so i had to stay towards the left side of the mountain. Tomcat Schuss looked SO icy! it looked so steep. It would have been impossible to do on a snowboard.

We are on the Wildcat Trail then cut off onto Wild Kitten, Tweetski's favorite, at the end.

  • I was there two years ago. Most beautiful ski resort with no lines. I wish I could make it there again.

  • @jordanhankim

I agree, the most beautiful ski mountain in New England. Short lines on weekends and no lines during the week.

  • Tomcat's Schuss looks suicidal from the top of Tomcat, especially when it hasn't been groomed...what other trails are as steep/steeper than Schuss that you know of?

  • @WINNONAAA

The Schuss is often ungroomed and challenging. The Wildcat trail is the most scenic, Lynx is the best cruiser top to bottom and Catapult is the most fun.

This is the most beautiful ski mountain in New England.
