NAMM '09-Collings Guitars New 360 Solidbody & More

I got rid of MY Gibson les paul vos 1968 .. , eric johnson strat ,sg supreme ,hot rod 57 strat and prs and switched to COLLINGS.. I BOUGHT 2 CITY LIMITS HONEY BURST AND TOBACCO BURST . THESE R THE BEST AND SUPERB QUALITY. I PLAY LIGHT TO0 HEAVEY ROCK. lookin at a 360 next played one and it had an excellent clean tone and a killer rock tone

Collings guitars are the best! very expensive but well worth it. They will always appreciate because very few people make guitars like Bill Collings anymore. Bigger does not always mean better, and Collings pay attention to every detail. Ever wonder why all reviews of his guitars always gets a perfect rating?

i've never played a collings (acoustic or electric) that wasn't dead perfect. Collings might be a god. The fit and finish are unrivaled by any maker, including benedetto and andersen. Also, every collings i've ever played has had the same dead smooth but icy firm quality that never lets you forget you are holding something supremely special and totally responsive to your voice. one day i'll have the funds and pull the trig.

Yes Collings is cool, and picky too. But thats a very good thing when your'e the customer. You know your'e getting a good one when you buy a Collings.

This body isn't quite a Les Paul, they're bigger and thinner and italicized forward, and the slope at the nape is way different. Way cool in all respects. Also great to see

a guitar builder so relaxed and funny, so many are so tightassed. I went to the Newport Festival in Miami and he's just a master of line, it's clear he really can SEE. I hope to get some of my designs to him one day soon! I've got a Firebird rework that no one else could make so well. What a shame he doesn't need me

well i have noticed over the years the les paul shape has become the holy grail shape of all guitars and i don't find that to be a bad thing but still i think someone should come out with a new break threw image like how dean did with the ml.
