One of the things that really warmed up was getting a small electric fireplace stove for the kitchen and bedroom, They were under $100 each.
. I also took several photos lhad them enlarged, put them in frames and placed them around the cutaway window between the kitchen and living room. I'm still working on making the bedroom a bit more cozy. It small. Any suggestions?
Also, my living room rug in blue, sofa blue, but the furniture is brown. How can I incorporate green into the room?

Pick some colors you like...Keep an eye on thrift stores, garage sales, and craigslist, and freecycle (I got 2 color tvs for free after asking if anyone had a working one!) Check dollar stores for knicknacks, wall decals, frames etc...I got a loveseat from my neighbor who was moving-$10 plus he toted it over for me. Woohoo! Don't worry about getting everything at once or from the same store...Hope that helps

Decorate on a budget? Craig's Fucking List ("free" section). Curb-alerts are sweet.
