@Kaykay940 I don't blame Kayla either. Jack was using his illness as leverage to get her to be with him and Steve was pushing her away because he wanted to help baby brother Billy. Part of me wishes that once Steve had broken up with her that Kayla had started dating someone totally different then maybe Steve wouldn't gotten his head on straight and truly fought for the woman he loved.

@DawnYzag I just wish...just ONE of those times...that Kayla had really understood that she should trust her instincts no matter WHAT Steve told her. I didn't blame her for Jack at all, cuz Steve was doing some serious pushing away and she tried and tried to get him to tell her. But it was so sad for them both.

Even though Steve was a real bonehead during this time my heart broke for him in this clip when he broke down to Jo about Kayla. It was his own fault that he'd lost her but still the anguish he was going through was so sad. I just wish Kayla had been stronger and had not gone running to jerk Jack.
