If you watch close you can see Master Sauer rotate the guys arm for a shoulder crank, not necessarily an omoplata as much as say a one armed kimura.
-
the armbar at the beginning is ridiculous!!

When you're an older grappler and are not as fast as the younger athletic guys. The older grappler must make the faster younger fight at their pace. Nice and controlled, technique over strength and quickness. Every movement master sauer is using, is calculated, using as little strength as possible resulting in great efficiency!

@PayatLumpia im guessing because u have a limited time and adrenaline gets pumping so everyone moves faster then when they roll on the mat at their academy
-
@hoops2425 is jiu jitsu a striking art?
-
@bosszeroboss I agree because I've seen guys roll slowly and beat fast guys. However, what I've never understood is if this is the case, why is it that guys in tournaments usually go faster? Is it right to say that their technique isn't as perfect, or could it mean that sometimes execution calls for speed? Anyone?

you can hear pedro's iron grip nearly ripping the gi haha
-
@sad18240 I was thinking the same...

inverted armbar.
They're moving slowly because, when you understand how to execute technique perfectly, you don't need to move fast.
How fast does a boa constrictor move?
