Last year I found here on youtube an interpretation of this Sonata from WILHELM KEMPFF - does anybody know, why it is no more here? It would be very interesting to compare the two visions of this work.
I admire Richter, but I love Kempff... By the way: Richter's 2nd movement : it is -pardon!- very much too slow -"Andante" and not "Molto Adagio".

"andante"? "molto adagio?" i fear you miss the beauty of it by assuming a "right" way to play.
