The Washington bureau of Cox Broadcasting, news talk radio station WTOP and the Congressional Quarterly were among the media outlets sending reporters to cover the launch of a new national campaign being led by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO).

AASHTO's cameras were also rolling at the Union Station event, launching What the New President and Congress Should Know about Transportation.

The campaign encourages travelers to take the opportunity to share their views on What the New President and Congress Should Know about Transportation. The campaign, which will continue through the Inauguration, is inviting everyone to go to www.IToldThePresident.org and post comments and videos about their transportation concerns.
