Kamandi was a creation of comics legend Jack Kirby and was primarily based on the successful "Planet of the Apes" movies.

I can see the appeal of it, but... I just can't take Batman seriously like this. I know he was like this in the days of Adam West, but they changed for a reason.

I see Batman as the brooding superhero from Batman: The Animated Series and Justice League.
