I'm pretty sure augmentations are permanent- in legendary weapons and your own custom store-bought ones.
Once something has an augmentation, it can't be removed or replaced. You have to buy another type of the same weapon if you want to use different augments.

@ipodtouch1996 true but i did kill a banshee whith 4 hits but dachie was still slower to kill one
and yes the dachie is better but the master hammer is powerful

ok stupid question i just recently got fable 2 myself.... but is it possible to replace augements already in a weapon?
