Bitdefender 2011 is a rogue antivirus in the same family as E-Set Antivirus 2011. This malware program should not be confused with the real Bit Defender 2011, as they are only related in name. The version shown in this video is not a legitimate program or representation of the real Bit Defender. Promoted through websites, this rogue malware program runs a fake virus scan, then claims that your computer is infected. It further claims that it is suffering from intrusion events... someone is trying to hack you. The fake scanner will try to convince you that you have to purchase a full version to become protected and remove the viruses from your computer. In reality, BitDefender 2011 is the only malware on your system.
